In my free time I read. And in reading I found a boy whose parents had died, leaving him with family who did not accept him for who he was. They did not show him the love, compassion, kindness or respect that all children deserve. His future appeared hopeless, but when he embraced the kindness of a brilliant mentor (in the headmaster of his school) and friends who treated him like family he found happiness and purpose. Given many opportunities to excel at evil, he repeatedly chose goodness. He accepted pain and defeat in order to gain success. He became famous not because he was rich, or powerful, but because he persevered in his endeavors; he never gave up on his goals. He was scared and often questioned what was right, but in the end made good choices that led him
